Music Information Center was founded in 1971 by a group of composers and culture workers in Zagreb. MIC is a non-profit organization whose main goal is to document and promote Croatian music domestically and internationally (composers, interpreters, sheet music publications, books on Croatian music in Croatian and in other languages). Since 1973, MIC has been affiliated to Zagreb Concert Management. The Center’s activities are primarily focused on catering professional musicians but also all others in need of information, sheet music or anything else related to Croatian music.

The 11th competition will be held from 2-10 August 2008 in the castle of Ettlingen and is open to young pianists of all nationalities, including stateless people. Deadline for applications: April 24, 2008 There are two age categories: Category A up to 15 years and Category B up to 20 years. Prizes (total worth more than 18.000 Euro) and concerts are awarded.
