The Académie des beaux-arts and the Cité internationale des arts jointly run programmes to welcome French and international artists in residence.
This visual arts programme supports four residencies of 10 months, from 3 September 2026 to 28 June 2027 at the Cité internationale des arts’ Montmartre site.
The Architecture and landscape programme benefits from two residencies of five months, from 3 September 2026 to 28 January 2027 or from 2 February to 28 June 2027 at the Cité internationale des arts’ Marais site.
The Choreography programme benefits from two residencies of five months, from 3 September 2026 to 28 January 2027 or from 2 February to 28 June 2027 at the Cité internationale des arts’ Marais site.
The programme offers:
- a live-in-studio
- a monthly living allowance of 1,500 EUR gross
- a production grant of up to 5,000 EUR (all taxes included)
- tailor-made professional support consisting of meetings and networking opportunities organised by the residency programme partners
- visibility and support opportunities for ongoing research and creation
A live-in-studio can accommodate up to two adults and one child up to 10 years old. Additional fees will be charged for accompanying persons.
