Studio Quantum is an international events and artist-in-residence programme from the Goethe-Institut, exploring emerging quantum technologies through the lens of art.  The Studio Quantum residences in 2024 are open to artists based in the following project locations: Germany, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Nigeria, India (States of Karnataka and Kerala), and South Africa. 

Invisible Dance: The Body in Friction seeks to explore the hidden choreography of conflict and friction with a three-week residency that will be held at the Conflictorium in Ahmedabad, India, between 10-30 April 2023. Choreographers and interdisciplinary performance artists who are citizens or residents of Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam can apply.

The New School’s Institute for the Cooperative Digital Economy is seeking applications for its 2023/2024 cohort of Fellows that will focus on the nexus of the climate crisis, the digital economy, and cooperatives. Two artists are also sought to join the cohort. The Fellowship programme will run for one year, beginning on 15 March 2023, and will provide Fellows with a stipend to attend the 2023 conference, likely in India.

Arts at CERN and the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia are offering a joint residency for two artists, one from Switzerland and one from India. The residency will take place April - May 2023 in Bengaluru, and September - October 2023 in Geneva.

The BeFantastic Within Fellowship programme is for artists, performers, creative technologists, filmmakers or photographers interested in incorporating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies into their practice. A three-week session online (16 May – 3 June 2022) will lead to three proposals being selected for presentation at FutureFantastic Festival in Bengaluru in March 2023.
