The artist and/or curator will be hosted for one month at Le Wonder in the suburbs of Paris. The residencies can be from September to November 2025, then from March to May 2026. The research and creation residency offered by Le Wonder is not focused on the production of a specific project. Instead, it encourages research and experimentation, whether theoretical, material, or formal.
It is possible and encouraged to organise an initial presentation of their work at the beginning of the residency. Each residency may conclude with a research presentation, which could take the form of an open studio, a lecture, a workshop, a screening, or a banquet. This final presentation is optional.
Le Wonder is a collective studio managed by and for artists. It also has wood, textile, metal, ceramic, cinema and image departments.
This call for applications is open to all artists and curators, regardless of age or nationality not living in Île-de- France. All artistic disciplines are accepted.
The invited artist and/or curator will receive a residency grant, allocated as follows:
- Artist’s fee: 1,200 EUR
- Travel expenses to Le Wonder in Bobigny: lump sum of 250 EUR
- Production costs (with receipts): up to 400 EUR
- Accommodation is provided free of charge by Le Wonder for the residency period.
