    Oscillations: Sonic Inquiries and Practices is a two-year project founded on the premise that sound is knowledge. The current open call covers residencies in Berlin and Cape Town and is aimed at sound artists, scholars and cultural practitioners based in Southern Africa.

    Akademie der Künste: Open Call for Residency Programme ‘AI Anarchies’ (Germany)
    The Junge Akademie of Akademie der Künste, Berlin, will support six artists in developing new works on the topic ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Ethics’ during a six-month residency programme at ZK/U in Berlin titled ‘AI Anarchies’. There are two time slots available: July to December 2022, January to June 2023.

  • Akademie der Künste > Art and Science Residency, ‘Human Machine’
    The JUNGE AKADEMIE of the Akademie der Künste, in partnership with VISIT, the artist-in-residence programme of the Innogy Stiftung für Energie und Gesellschaft foundation, is offering a new international fellowship to fund projects at the interface between art and science on the topic of the human-machine relationship. Artists from all disciplines may apply with a project to explore this complex subject area using artistic research approaches. Start times negotiable, but projects should be completed within six months. Deadline: 30 April 2020.
