In a small dynamic team of professionals which manages a broad international network of higher arts education institutions, the Membership and Development Manager has two distinct but related areas of responsibility. Growing and engaging the ELIA community of universities and academies in the arts places your work as Membership Manager at the heart of ELIA’s existence. You are a born networker who not only loves to connect with people but also excels at translating that passion to a rigorous sales approach, developing the membership base in a sustainable way. In doing this, you make optimal use of the resources that are at your disposal for relationship management and community engagement. As Development Manager, you will develop and implement an income development strategy for ELIA, spanning from sponsorship to fundraising and paid service development. You have a strong sense of sales and knowledge of the newest techniques in fundraising, digital and growth marketing. You report to the Executive Director.
ELIA’s multi-year development plan 2023 – 2026 (currently in development) will form the foundation for your work and targets. The position offers a contract for four days (32 hours) a week, for one year with a view to extending. Salary ranges from EUR 2900 to EUR 4188 gross per month on a full-time basis depending on experience, including benefits package.
