The Parc naturel régional de l’Aubrac, in partnership with the commune of Montézic, is launching the second edition of ‘Parlons Culture & Création’, a residency designed to foster artistic creation and cultural dialogue in rural settings. The call supports the presence of artists who wish to develop a project connected to the local area and its inhabitants.
The residency will take place in Montézic (Aveyron, France) between four to six weeks.
The 2026 edition focuses on the theme of ‘transmission and the living environment’, encouraging proposals that explore the relationship between people, territory, and cultural heritage. The residency is part of the broader cultural strategy of the Parc naturel régional de l’Aubrac, which promotes artistic experimentation and engagement with local communities.
The programme supports research and creative projects that involve an element of public sharing. The selected artist or collective will be invited to interact with local residents, schools, and associations during their stay.
The residency is open to professional artists, collectives or companies working in the performing arts, media arts, visual arts or social sciences.
The selected artist, collective or company will receive a total grant of 7,700 EUR, which covers artistic fees and project expenses.
