Art Hub Copenhagen: Visual Arts Residency 2026 (Denmark)

Title of the call on a coloured background.

Art Hub Copenhagen (AHC) is a network-creating institution that works actively to create and expand visual artists’ networks both nationally and internationally.

The Art Hub Residency is both for newly qualified artists and other artists, where the residency programme can make a difference in relation to spreading and establishing a practice on a national and international level.

The residency runs for five months. The spring residency is from February to June 2026, while the autumn residency is from September 2026 to January 2027.

Part of the programme consists of meetings with selected curators/mentors as well as a visit program to several art institutions in Denmark. In addition to the focus on networking, the Art Hub Residency provides time for reflection and production.

Gaduated artists who are EU/EØS citizens or either in possession of a permanent residence permit or entitled in some other way to reside in Denmark for a period of five months can apply. It is possible to apply as a duo.

With a focus on networking, dissemination, immersion and production, the Art Hub Residency offers a studio, access to workshop facilities, a monthly fee (21,000 DKK per month) and a sparring and development programme based on the individual artist’s needs.
