With the support of the Cariplo Foundation, Cura project – Regaining trust is the new biennial project signed by Manifatture Teatrali Milanesi. A calendar of performances and events running along the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons, it aims to make the stage of MTM more and more a place of reference for contemporary cultural debates.
The backbone of this project consists of two shows and one performance produced by MTM Teatro and two pieces selected through an international open call. These five artistic creations will be united by a single subject, seen from different angles: the relationship between ancient drama and the role of women in contemporary society.
The call aims to select a show to be hosted at MTM Teatro from 15-18 March 2023, directed and/or written by an emerging artist and focused on the artistic relationship between ancient drama and the role of women in contemporary society. The shows do not necessarily have to be reinterpreting or rewriting ancient dramas.
Artists/companies submit a budget during application.
