Rose Choreographic School is accepting applications for the second Artistic Cohort, which will run from April 2027 to March 2029, during which 9 artists will receive a 15,000 GBP research budget (distributed in monthly stipend payments), access to studio space at Sadler’s Wells East, and mentoring and production support.

Hosted by Cultural Association VEIK (German for Association for Experimental and Interdisciplinary Art), the Light Art Residency at Rottaler Zollhäuser is an artistic research and production programme dedicated to international artists working with light and media. The residency provides a space for experimentation, collaboration and reflection on the relationship between art, technology, natural environments and sustainability.

PERFORMNORD, the first international platform for performance art from the Nordic countries, is being held in Copenhagen, Denmark, 2-12 September 2027. They are now inviting artists in the Nordics working with performance art to apply. PERFORMNORD is a Danish-Nordic initiative and is backed by Nordic national art agencies.

The Northern European Mobility Opportunity (NEMO) is a programme for mobility and artistic exchange. It is supported by the Nordic Culture Fund and the arts funding agencies of Ireland, England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The programme focuses on individual artists and arts practitioners in the early stages of their careers.

Рroto produkciia Foundation, in partnership with the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House in Mykolaiv with support from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is opening applications for a five-day residency in Moldova for early- and mid-career performing arts professionals from Ukraine (Mykolaiv region), Moldova, and Sakartvelo.

The European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists (EFFEA) is back with its fifth call, supporting festivals to work together and create opportunities for emerging artists across borders. Applications are open for residencies taking place in 2027.

The International Mute Photo Festival (IMPhF) 2027 is calling for submissions made on children’s thermal printer camera in the theme Nature ate the pixels. The exhibition will be held in Karlovasi, Samos, Greece, in July 2027.

Teatri Riflessi Festival has opened its 2027 call for short performances: live works no longer than 15 minutes of contemporary dance, theatre, circus or multidisciplinary performance, to take place at Zafferana Etnea, Sicily, Italy, from 13 to 18 July 2027.

Every year, the Institut français gives prize winners from all over the world the opportunity to develop a research and creative project in all artistic disciplines at the Cité internationale des arts. Selected applicants will undertake their residency between April 2027 and April 2028.

The Bagri Foundation offers grants to non-profit arts organisations actively engaged in the cultural sector, supporting artistic projects that promote traditional and/or contemporary Asian culture. There must be a confirmed public outcome in UK or Europe.

The Institute brings together a cohort of up to 15 Fellows, half of them Columbia faculty and post-docs, the other half artists and writers from around the world, to spend a year together in work and conversation.
