The Bravo! International Performing Arts Festival for Young Audiences in the Helsinki metropolitan area is now seeking proposals for workshops and art education programmes aimed at both professionals and children, young people, and their families. They are open to all new ideas for creating art with, for, and by children and youth.
The Bravo! Festival will take place from 14–22 March 2026 and has a Nordic-Baltic Focus.
Proposals may be:
- tailored to the main audiences (children, young people, families),
- designed for the professional programme,
- or a combination of both.
Applications can be from performing arts professionals from the Nordic-Baltic region who work in the field of performing arts for children and young audiences. The formats can include workshop, lecture, flash mob, intervention in the public space, art activism for youth, or other art education programme.
They also welcome suggestions for audience engagement activities in the festival context (e.g. discussions, writing projects, or other participatory formats related to the performances).
Workshop fees, travel, and accommodation will be covered by ASSITEJ Finland.
