Working-Class Creative Grant (Online)

Artist Karim Boumjimar is offering a Working-Class Creative Grant for a working-class creative anywhere in the world.

It is a small independent grant initiative in which a portion of his artwork sales is redistributed as a no-strings-attached 500 EUR award. The grant is intended for individuals who lack institutional or financial support and may use the funds for artistic production, research, materials, travel, or basic living needs.

The application process is simple: applicants send a short introduction and a sample of their work or interests. There is no fee, no reporting requirement, and no obligation to produce work. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and recipients are selected depending on available funds generated by his practice.

This is artist-run, small, and real, not institutional. Recipients are selected according to the resources available within Boumjimar’s independent artistic practice. Artists not selected immediately will remain in the pool for future consideration. There is no need to reapply. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Deadline: Rolling / open
