With MEMPHIS CALLING, Kunstraum Memphis are opening to external curatorial perspectives through an international open call for the first time. MEMPHIS CALLING is looking for a curatorial concept for an exhibition bringing together several artistic positions, to be realised in early 2027 (exhibition period: mid-January to the end of February).

Maison Ackerman and Abbaye Royale de Fontevraud are calling for applications for the 2027 artist residency to create an artwork in the Maison Ackerman cellars. The residency is from mid-January 2027 and the opening is in May-June 2027.

HERside connects Košice (UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts) and Lviv (UNESCO Creative City of Literature). Six women working in culture – three from each country – will spend a month in the partner city developing new work on the theme of resilience amid war and other global challenges.

HIAP and Sumud invite Palestina-based and Palestinian contemporary visual artists to apply for a three-month residency in Helsinki, from 12 April to 11 July 2027 at HIAP Cable Factory.

This open call is for Ukrainian and Ukraine-based artists to undertake residencies in Finland in 2027. The open call is part of the Ukraine Solidarity Residencies Programme, supported by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture.

HIAP Helsinki International Artist Programme is calling for applications from international artists and arts practitioners (based outside of Finland) for the Learning Materials residency (12 April – 11 July 2027 or 16 August – 14 November 2027).

For 2027, the association Lendhauer invites artists, designers, architects, performers, theorists and practitioners working in interdisciplinary contexts to develop projects for Klagenfurt’s Lendhafen addressing the theme ‘Urban Ecologies: Coexistence and Control’. The selected projects will be realised between June and the end of September 2027.

With TANZRECHERCHE x SPRUNGBRETT, the NRWKS and the tanz NRW festival are offering a production-independent research grant comprising a two-week residency from 26 April to 10 May 2027 in North Rhine-Westphalia, followed by participation in the tanz nrw 27 festival from 12 to 23 May 2027.
