ZMINA:Resilience Webinar: Green Mobility in Arts and Culture

Text of the event with a portrait of Marie Le Sourd.

ZMINA:Resilience has launched the next chapter of the Capacity Building programme: the Green Culture series, through an online session on 13 May 2026. In an era of climate change, ecology in culture is no longer just a choice, but a necessity. This series is designed to help us redefine our artistic and management practices toward sustainability, fairness, and responsibility to the planet.

The concept of green mobility is often reduced to a simple choice of transport. However, the real challenge runs much deeper. We often overlook how the pressure to be ‘green’ can unintentionally exacerbate inequalities in access to culture between different contexts in Europe. Is it possible to travel for the arts sustainably and fairly at the same time?

This training session invites participants to rethink established patterns of cultural mobility. Marie Le Sourd from On the Move will guide participants through both theoretical dilemmas and practical solutions. Instead of offering one-size-fits-all templates, this session provides a platform for sharing questions and ideas, while equipping participants with concrete tools and practices tailored to the reality of each organisation.

The training session will be held in English. ZMINA:Resilience is a cooperation between IZOLYATSIA (UA), Malý Berlín (SK) with support of Trans Europe Halles (SE).
