BOUNCE is a mentoring programme designed to offer a supportive space for professionals with 4 to 10 (maximum) years of experience. It offers opportunities for networking, extends professional connections, and fosters awareness around fair practices and equitable working conditions, while providing tools to advance the mentee’s project and to make them better equipped to implement change in their professional practice.
The programme offers the following:
- A 16-hour development programme with a facilitator from Circostrada members and external experts;
- Participation in a kick-off event in order to meet the other participants and facilitators (including travel, per diems, and accommodation);
- One on-site and two online workshops guided by experts and connected to fair practices and equitable working conditions;
- Participation in the Circostrada General Meeting (including travel, per diems, and accommodation) and/or in FRESH events (including travel, per diems, and accommodation);
- Opportunity to engage with the SPARK Participatory Research Lab on Fair Practices and Equitable Working Conditions with the Performing Arts Coalition (PAC) led by five performing arts networks – ASSITEJ, Circostrada, EDN, EFA, and IETM.
Selected applicants will be required to attend the kick-off event on 26–27 May in the frame of the FRESH STREET #5 (28-30 May 2025) in the frame of the Out There Arts festival in Great Yarmouth, United Kingdom and in the frame of the Circostrada Annual General Meeting in June 2026 in Sibiu, Romania for the wrap-up session.
Eligibility
- Professionals from the contemporary circus and outdoor arts sectors residing preferably in Creative Europe eligible countries;
- The candidate must have between 4 to 10 years of professional experience in the contemporary circus and outdoor arts fields;
- The candidate must be working in the field of contemporary circus or outdoor arts and have a specific project as the focus for this programme.
