After so many years, our sector knows quite well the obstacles to mobility, touring, and cross-border cultural cooperation. So why another survey? The answer is simple: when the Commission began its work last December, it pledged to improve the functioning of the internal market and reduce unnecessary burdens to enterprises. To make the case, Pearle* needs real-life stories from those who experience these challenges first-hand, whether touring, receiving artists, or working with crew.
Short and straightforward, the survey takes between 3 and 10 minutes to fill in. It aims to collect insights from the cultural professionals who deal with hindrances, burdens, frustrations, stress, confusing rules or decisions, which can be caused by regulations, paperwork, digital tools, or interactions with people.
The results of the survey will feed into Pearle’s advocacy work on the topic of cross-border mobility and the labour mobility package.
