The Saudi Visual Arts Commission announces the open call for Cycle 2 of the Third Edition of Intermix Residency, a fully funded, three-month art residency program based at JAX District, Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The program consists of three residency cycles each year, hosting a total of forty-five participants from Saudi Arabia and abroad. Through dedicated studios, mentorship, and public programmes, Intermix Residency enables participants to develop their practices individually and collectively, while engaging with the themes of innovation, sustainability, and transformation - which are key themes that inform the Intermix Residency programmes.
Eligibility: Visual artists, curators and art writers (Saudi and international)
The residency offers:
- Visa support and round-trip economy flight.
- Individual studio spaces and shared work facilities.
- Single room accommodation and living stipend.
- Production grants (subject to program guidelines)
- Mentorship and professional development activities
- Workshops, talks, and field visits
- Open Studios at the end of the residency cycle
