From 24 to 25 November 2025 in Zagreb, Croatia, Kooperativa – Regional Platform for Culture is organising ‘Forum 2.0 — Next Gen: Rethinking Shared Cultural Futures’, a two-day event that weaves together critical conversations about networks, movements, and infrastructure with artistic practices exploring bodies, power, and resistance. From examining how different organisational forms navigate crisis, to Zagreb as a laboratory for cultural governance, to performances and installations that ask the same questions through art.
On the Move Director of Operations Yohann Floch is presenting in a roundtable on the topic of ‘Crisis Response Mechanisms: Networks vs. Movements – Self-Organisation and Institutional Dialogue’.
A crucial element of Forum 2.0 is bringing young artists and collectives from across Southeast Europe to Zagreb, creating a unique opportunity for cultural exchange and artistic dialogue. This initiative addresses the persistent challenges of limited mobility and visibility that emerging artists from the region face, while also enriching Zagreb’s cultural landscape with diverse regional perspectives.
The selected artists represent the dynamic creativity emerging from Southeast Europe, offering Zagreb audiences direct access to contemporary artistic practices that might otherwise remain geographically constrained. By positioning these presentations across both independent and institutional cultural spaces throughout the city, the Forum creates multiple points of encounter and genuine dialogue between local and regional artistic communities.
