Art Zoyd Studios invites applications for its 2026/2027 residency programme, offering periods of research, experimentation and development for artists working in electroacoustic and electronic music.
Residencies take place throughout the year, with sessions lasting between one and two weeks, generally spaced over several months depending on the availability of the centre. The call is open to artists from all over the world.
Art Zoyd Studios is a centre for musical creation dedicated to supporting composers, musicians and artists engaged in innovative practices involving computer music, electronics and composition. The programme places emphasis on projects that explore the relationship between instruments, technology and other artistic fields, encouraging experimental and transdisciplinary approaches.
The residency supports artistic research, experimentation and project development. Selected projects must involve in-depth work in computer music, electronics or composition, and demonstrate a strong focus on musical creation or a transdisciplinary project with a significant musical component. Residents benefit from working closely with a Réalisateur en Informatique Musicale (RIM), who provides technical and artistic guidance.
The residency is not remunerated. However, accommodation and meals are covered during the residency period, and a contribution towards travel costs from the artist’s home to the studios is provided (up to 400 EUR). Residents also receive access to technical equipment and benefit from technical and artistic support. A copyright bonus may be awarded depending on the project.
