Association de Volontariat, Echange Culturel et action des jeunes are seeking five individual digital artists and visual practitioners to join them in Nabeul, Tunisia, for a 90-day immersive residency from 21 September to 20 December 2026.
This residency is designed as a creative laboratory that merges Mediterranean heritage—such as Nabeul’s centuries-old pottery and weaving traditions—with cutting-edge digital storytelling tools like VR, AR, and 360-degree video. Residents will have the opportunity to engage with the local artisan community and contribute to a collaborative ‘Pixels and Patrimoine’ multimedia exhibition.
The residency is open to visual artists (photographers, videographers, digital artists) who will collaborate with 10 local young artisans. Applicants must legally reside in a Creative Europe country other than Tunisia and they must be individuals only (no group applications).
Support:
- Daily allowance of 30 EUR /day (total 2,700 EUR) and a travel allowance of 600 EUR.
- Private sea-view accommodation and 24/7 access to a fully equipped Digital Lab with high-performance hardware and professional software.
- Full logistical support, including airport transfers and ongoing technical assistance.
