Estudi General Lul·lià: Ramon Llull Artistic Creation and Residency Grant 2025 (Spain)

The Laboratori Llull of the Estudi General Lul·lià is pleased to announce the call for an individual creation grant intended to allow the selected candidate to carry out an artistic project over a period of three months in 2025 from 1 September to 27 November in Palma (Balearic Islands, Spain).

The aim of this creative support is to open a multidisciplinary study path that will contribute to the dissemination and research of Ramon Llull’s work from the perspective of contemporary creation. Candidates must show the specific link between their artistic proposal and the theoretical approach to a specific theme or aspect of Llull’s thought. The aim is to make known a transcendental figure of the culture and history of Mallorca, which together with the promotion of the creative fact, puts in value the culture as a tool for social transformation.

The competition is launched internationally, and the economical amount of the grant, 6,000 EUR (VAT included). It is sponsored exclusively by the Fundació Baltasar Coll, which promotes cultural, social, and religious thought research activities and will make the payment directly to the selected person. An apartment and a workspace will be provided at the Estudi General for the development of the research.
