HERside connects Košice (UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts) and Lviv (UNESCO Creative City of Literature). Six women working in culture – three from each country – will spend a month in the partner city developing new work on the theme of resilience amid war and other global challenges.
The work created during the residencies becomes a joint exhibition, curated by a Slovak and a Ukrainian curator together with the residents, and shown in both cities in December 2026 and January 2027. The project is run by CINEFIL and the Hnat Khotkevych Palace of Culture.
