Text of the call on a dark coloured background.

Asia’s leading sustainable light festival will return for its 11th edition to showcase light art installations at Marina Bay and its neighbouring precincts from 30 May to 22 June 2025.

Every edition, i Light Singapore invites artists to explore various forms of sustainability and sustainable living – of environment, economy and culture – and examine how light art can create conversations about our lifestyles, decision making and the community.

The curatorial theme of i Light Singapore 2025, To Gather, calls for innovative light art installations that draw inspiration from the colour red in moving the human collective. As the lifeblood of the collective existence, red is the common thread that binds people together – a call to embrace unity in diversity. To Gather strives to spark conversations, foster vibrant communities and inspire collective action so as to effect positive change for a more sustainable future.

All local, regional, and international artists, including architects, designers of various specialties (lighting, product, industrial, etc.), artists and multimedia specialists are invited to submit proposals for light art installations.

Applicants submit a budget for proposed artworks up to a maximum of 18,000 SGD. The festival also offers airfare and accommodation for 1 pax only, up to a maximum of 5 days, for the purpose of installing the artwork and attending the festival opening.
