Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture: Call for Jury Members

The Goethe-Institut, within the framework of the project ‘Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture: West Africa’, funded by the European Union, invites cultural actors and professionals from West Africa and Europe to apply for the recruitment of jury members for the evaluation of proposals for the selection of the 6 major festivals for which the call for applications was launched in October 2025.

This call for applications aims to select seven individuals to serve as jury members responsible for evaluating the projects submitted by the festivals to select 6 festivals that will be awarded a grant of 100,000 EUR each.

The target countries are: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Sénégal, Sierra Léone, Togo, the European Union. Applicants must be a citizen of one of these countries.

Anyone with solid knowledge/skills or involved in the following cultural fields may apply: Cinema, AV & animation, Heritage, Literature, Music, Performing arts, Visual arts.

The maximum duration for carrying out the project evaluation mission will be 10 days. A flat fee of 560 EUR is allocated for each jury member.
