ENCC - European Network of Cultural Centres is reintroducing its UP Grants, a microgrant scheme open to all socio-cultural centres throughout Europe. It has two main strands: ‘Awareness and pattern change/mindshift: art and culture can shape how people think and influence their behaviours, also in relation to sustainability’ and ‘Footprint of culture: how can we be more sustainable?’.
This scheme aims to support sustainability initiatives already in place, in order to boost them, provide visibility, and inspire others.
All eligible projects will be included in a database and get visibility at national and international level. 4 selected projects will receive a grant of 3500€. 4 extra grants of the same amount will also be awarded to Italian initiatives located in 3 regions (Piemonte, Liguria, Valle d’Aosta) by our partner Fondazione Compagnia Di Sanpaolo. The 8 selected best practices will be showcased on the ENCC website and other ENCC communication channels. Winners will be invited to join ENCC’s international conference to be held in Turin next June and to present their project there. Be prepared to organise an interactive workshop with participants.
Applications are open to all ENCC members, members of ENCC networks, and all non-profit socio-cultural centres in Europe (respecting Creative Europe Programme geographical eligibility).
