Located on the shores of Lake Geneva, in La Tour-de-Peilz, between Vevey and Montreux, and close to Switzerland’s main cultural and natural attractions, La Becque | Artists Residency welcomes artists from all walks of life.
The Principal Residency Programme pays particular attention to projects that explore the interplay between nature, the environment, and technology, notions that are more intertwined than ever and that lie at the heart of contemporary concerns.
Applicants can apply for a three-month residency, which must take place during the annual quarterly residency periods (four in the 2026 intake): January–March, May–July, September–November, January–March 2027. The residency period must be specified at the time of application and cannot be changed.
Resident artists are provided with a live/work apartment for the duration of their stay with access to a professional music and recording studio as well as wood and ceramic workshops. Residents will receive a monthly stipend of 1,500 CHF to cover living expenses and production costs (or up to 2,500 CHF for groups) and La Becque contributes to the travel costs of residents from their place of residency to La Tour-de-Peilz. They also offer additional monthly financial support of 1,000 CHF to help with childcare costs.
