The MusVerre invites applications for its 2026 artist residency, offering a ‘stay’ during which an artist or a glass artist collective (maximum three people) develops a project of creation, research or experimentation. The residency provides temporary access to the museum’s workshop, as well as human, technical and material resources, alongside financial support.

The residency will take place at the own of Sars-Poteries (France) between 1 September and 5 December 2026, for a maximum duration of 60 days.

The proposed theme for this edition is ‘Interior / Exterior’. The residency is conceived as an opportunity to realise and bring to fruition a well-developed artistic project, which will be presented to the public and may be considered for donation to the MusVerre. It also aims to enable local inhabitants to discover and engage with artistic work.

The residency is open to individual artists or collectives of up to three members, without restrictions regarding nationality or place of residence. In the case of a collective, one project leader must be designated. The artist, or at least one member of the collective, must be able to communicate in French or English.

The selected artist or collective will be accommodated in the workshop’s living space and will share common areas with the team. Material costs are covered directly by the MusVerre up to 2,400 EUR. A per diem of 45 EUR per day is granted. Travel costs are covered up to 900 EUR for a return journey, regardless of the number of participants.
