neimënster is opening its parvis (courtyard) to artistic proposals that use natural, organic, and/or ephemeral materials. From land art to ephemeral sculpture, neimënster invites visual artists, designers, and set designers to apply for a four-week residency from October to November 2026. The works will be on display on the pavis from December through February 2027.
The materials used must be biodegradable and non-toxic, preferably sourced from recovery and/or recycling. The works will be exposed to the wind and the elements of the Luxembourg winter; proposals must take this into account. Artists are free to choose their theme, but proposals should preferably align with neimënster’s values.
Although the creation and installation of the project will take place outdoors, an indoor workspace will be made available throughout the residency.
Offered conditions:
- A four-week research residency from 19 October to 14 November 2026, plus two weeks for creation and installation if the project is selected
- A 4,000 EUR research residency grant, followed by a 2,000 EUR grant for two weeks of creation/installation (if the project is selected)
- A 40 m² studio with a maximum ceiling height of 3 m, and housing (if necessary)
- A production budget tailored to the specific needs of the selected projects
- Logistical and technical support during the installation of the works
- Visibility through neimënster’s communication channels
