The Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus, in collaboration with Rialto Theatre, is calling for applications from choreographers and/or dance companies for their 26th Cyprus Contemporary Dance Festival, from 1 to 22 June 2025, at the Rialto Theatre and the Nicosia Municipal Theatre in Limasssol, Cyprus.

The STUDIOTOPIA Residency Programme aims to break down barriers between disciplines by encouraging innovative cross-disciplinary approaches. This edition is open to both emerging and established talents across the arts, sciences, and academic fields.

The Creative Europe-funded project CONTESTED DESIRES: Constructive Dialogues (CDCD) is calling for applications from visual artists who are passionate about unravelling colonial legacies and who are based in Tunisia, Ghana, Hungary, Chile, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus, Spain, the Netherlands or the UK.

The CYENS Thinker Maker Space Artist-in-Residence Programme is hosted on a short-term basis ranging from two to six months. The open call invites individuals from the creative industries (creators, designers, visual artists, academics and others) to submit a portfolio and a project proposal.

The Theatre in Palm partner countries will organise 12 local residencies for emerging artists in 2024. Each of the 12 partner countries will host five emerging artists for two weeks in their local venues.

UNIDEE Residency Programs, Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto and Kimonos Art Center have announced a joint open call for a four-week Research Residency between Cyprus and Italy for an international artist or researcher, who will spend two weeks in Paphos from 6-20 November 2023 and two weeks in Biella from 21 November - 5 December 2023. The residency is an opportunity to develop or continue their artistic research linked to a socially responsible transformation, and specifically to environmental and ecological issues.

Organised by NeMe Arts Centre in Limassol, Cyprus from 3-4 November 2023, MoneyLab#13 aims to interrogate the state of our recent and emerging technologies, and how they relate to hegemonic economies working around three themes: blockchain, DAOs, NFTs and other crypto-related topics; dematerialisation of money, cashless society, CBDC/digital euro; revenue models for the arts.
