    The seventh edition of Contemporary Dance Night will take place in the last quarter of 2023, in Cairo and Alexandria, Egypt between late November and early December 2023.     Cryptic / B’sarya: Open Call for Artists From Egypt and the UK, ‘Down the Wire’ (Egypt / UK)
    Down the Wire Live is a six-month collaborative project between B’sarya (Egypt) and Cryptic (UK). Both organisations will support artists, enabling them to participate in a collaborative research and development project resulting in a live performance/event in both Glasgow and Alexandria. 16 artists will participate in an exchange on 6 July 2022, with 2 selected for a final exchange to take place between October 2022 – early April 2023.

    Goethe-Institut: Open Call for Choreographic Projects from Arabic Speaking Countries (Online / Egypt, Germany)
    The Goethe-Institut is launching a project to support choreographic creations in the Arabic speaking countries. It proposes to select ten artists from and based in the Arabic speaking countries. Each artist will be creating a choreographic project centred on notions of autonomy and body politics. The Goethe-Institut provides financial support for the productions and accompanies artists from conception to implementation.
