Galerija Siva in Zagreb, Croatia, invites artists to submit exhibition and residency proposals for the 2026 programme cycle. They are seeking works that emerge within the context of contemporary, experimental, and interdisciplinary art, as well as practices rooted in street art, illustration, design, comics, and other unconventional forms of expression.
Galerija Siva places a special emphasis on projects that explore alternative artistic formats, question the relationship between space, audience, and media, and open up critical reflections on contemporary society. The call is open to both trained and self-taught artists, collectives, curators, and residents.
Galerija Siva operates as part of the social cultural and community centre Medika, located in a former factory that has been revitalised by artists and cultural workers through squatting. The gallery’s programme is based on a DIY (do-it-yourself) ethos, artistic autonomy, and freedom of expression.
While Siva originated from the street art scene, it has evolved into a platform for contemporary and alternative artistic practices, open to disciplines and forms that often lack institutional representation.
