The ARTIVISM Summer Academy is a 14-day long training programme for participants from European and Erasmus+ eligible countries in the framework of Artivism, from 7 to 22 July 2025 in Vác, Metropolitan Area Budapest, Hungary. The programme aims to develop the skills and competences of professionals working in the fields of youth education, social care and the creative fields.
This year’s Academy is an international camp that brings together artists, educators, youth workers, facilitators, community organisers and activists who believe in the power of art to achieve social change or who are eager to learn how art-making can empower communities and individuals. Centred around the concept of Artivism—the fusion of art and activism—the camp will explore how performative arts and creative practices can be powerful tools for promoting the three main themes of social inclusion, gender equality, and environmental consciousness.
The project is organised by Pro Progressione (HU) in partnership with Dezdemóna Kovács (HU), Dafa Puppet Theatre (CZ), and Companhia Teatro de Gato Escaldado (PT).
The programme is particularly looking for artists, educators, youth workers, facilitators, community organisers working with underprivileged communities. Applicants must be 18 to 35 years old.
